The Excelsior Journeys podcast was supposed to feature as a guest Patrick Hodges, multi-award-winning author and founder of the Young Adult Authors Rendezvous Facebook page. Sadly, this won't ever be the case, as the writing community lost Patrick last week. So this week's episode is a chance to say goodbye to someone who not only deservedly won more than one Readers Favorite award for such works as Joshua's Island and others, but who made a point to create a community of indie authors cheering on each other's success.
