Author and Community Organizer Sara Burton Has Glitter Ready for Fellow Authors Everywhere

Author and Community Organizer Sara Burton Has Glitter Ready for Fellow Authors Everywhere

Writing is, at its heart, a very solitary profession. No matter how the day unfolds, at some point the writer has to sit down by themselves and get the daily word count finished. Sometimes the words spill out onto the page very easily, most of the time it's agonizing just to put one sentence together. So it's very important for the writer to have a community to lean on, people who know the highs and lows that come with doing this day in and day out. That's where author Sara Burton comes in, and she is the guest this week on the Excelsior Journeys podcast. Sara sits down with host & producer George Sirois and lets authors everywhere know that she has a handful of glitter ready to celebrate all the milestones, no matter how small they may be, and that her community on Discord is all about sharing positivity, support, love, motivation, and inspiration.

I connected with George on Threads & thought - I need to check out his podcast!

I connected with George on Threads & thought - I need to check out his podcast!

I was NOT disappointed.

From the very early episodes, you could tell - this guy was literally BORN to podcast; interview great guests; share his insights; and hold intriguing conversations.

I learn so much from his interviews, especially the recent one with Rena of Better Call Daddy Podcast. I walked away with a thousand and one new ideas for my own podcasts.

I also just love the way he speaks. He’s one of my favorite people to follow & talk with on Threads so it’s no surprise that his podcast brings up similar feelings

So much fun

George was a complete delight to talk to, and we had a very stimulating conversation. He was my first podcast, so I feel like I got very lucky. I hope future hosts will match up to George!

Wonderful host with book publishing expertise

George was great! It was a pleasure to be interviewed by a host with extensive publishing industry knowledge. He asked great questions, and the conversation quickly covered a lot of ground. I highly recommend this host to anyone who wants to learn more about quality book publishing.
